Meinl's Artist Concept Models are the result of collaborations between talented drummers and Meinl's R&D team. These AC-Crasher Hats were designed by creative German drummer Benny Greb. They're 8 inches in diameter and consist of three top cymbals stacked upon one another with a single bottom cymbal. They have a mid-bright timbre with a trashy mellow character and the pitch is mid-high with a low volume and a short sustain. They sound a little bit like a shaker or even a hi-hat sample and are perfect for playing ghost notes, accents and rhythmic fills. An MXH hi-hat arm is included so that you can easily add this to your existing setup.
